The Elk Lick House

Heritage Village consists of 13 buildings - 11 of which are original homes/buildings and most were relocated to save them from demolition.

Heritage Village lets you imagine what small town life was like in Ohio during the 1800's.

As we were walking by the building Psychic/Medium Victor Paruta was called to the house by two younger male spirits. He felt this house had an "active haunting." He felt there was an older male energy that felt we were "intruding" on him.

Vorhes House: Victor Paruta Medium Walkthrough

The Vorhes House is a typical Cincinnati area farm house from the 1820's or 1830's. It was moved from Cornell Road in Blue Ash, Ohio.

The Vorhes family name is also registered as Voorhees. Research notes that in 1794 Abraham Voorhees, Sr., at the age of 64, moved from New Jersey through the mountains of Pennsylvania, down the Ohio River to present day Cincinnati. His son, Garrett, had visited the territory and recommended purchase of land there.
